Design of software for the management and control of complex processes within a chemical manufacturing company.

Their need

Digitalize a manual process to optimize and facilitate the management and maintenance of chemical heating. At a visual level, they needed to comply with the company's graphic style and make the process more user-friendly for workers.

The process

In order to know in depth the manual process of the workers and to understand the problem, we visited the place in situ where we could see the complete heating process and the interaction between machines and workers. Once we gathered all this information, we developed focus groups to find out the needs and expectations of the workers in relation to the software to be developed. The main insights we were able to draw from the observation phase and the focus groups were the following:
